Hi all, I've just baught a Rams jersey with 75th anniversary patch on and tags. The only thing is it's number 25 (Rams didn't have a number 25 since the 80s as far as i know) and the name is G. Pagani who i've never heard of. Just wondering if custom authentics were available at the time or should i be worried about this. Any help would be appreciated (Pics will be up ASAP, asked the seller for some better pics)

What make of jersey is it? I wouldn't be worried about a no name, could even be a preseason team issue/gamer of someone cut before the regular season, need pics to tell.

The additional tag above the Russell pro-line one means that it has been customised - probably by a company called "Athletic Supply" (off the top of my head - I think that's what they were called), who were based in Texas and did the customisations for Russell / Wilson era NFL authentics. I guess they were the equivalent of what EPS is now.

Given the name is of somebody who doesn't appear to exist in NFL history, and the number wasn't of anyone on their roster in 1994, I would guess it's a personalised retail authentic and G. Pagnani was a Rams fan who had it made to order.

ahhh right that would explain a lot, thanks Russell! just seemed abit weird that it still has the proline tags on, maybe it was given for a special present, might have to ask the seller where he got it

Yep, now we can see it it is a customised jersey as Russell says.

Think ill take the name off when i get it. Is there anywhere in the uk that does this type of printing? Would a normal football printer work?
