My understanding is that Ripon produced samples for the Bucs when they were vying for the rights to make their on field jerseys. I believe this is one of the samples they produced as part of that process. Either way - I'm not particularly concerned about the background story. I've just been keen to get my hands on a Ripon for a while. The fact that it's a Bucs Creamsicle (and a Sapp at that) makes it all the better. This is probably the best quality jersey I've seen, and the cut is really nice too. It's slightly long, but completely wearable, which is an added bonus:

I passed up on a Lynch a few months back, but this makes up for it.

Very nice pickup Russell. I'm jealous.

Thanks folks.

I have stumbled across a few over the last year or so, but looking on eBay now - the only ones are M&N or college. There was a nice Titans one (think it may have been Kearse) that I had been watching, and could have got it for something like $60. I really regret passing that up now, having seen the quality of these. Would highly recommend them to all!

Incidentally, this is an "X-large", but equates to a Reebok 48. I know Ripon made these for the Bucs in their old creamsicle alt (the white body which had red numbers with the creamsicle trim.) If I am able to find one of those to add to the Sapp, I'll be very happy.
