Very cool sir. Was it an eBay pick-up? I'd like a retail authentic that I can wear!

I got a place for you guys, especially people who are looking for 2009 50th Anniversary AFL jerseys or other throwbacks, the store is called Yesterday's Hero's, they are on the web at retrothrowbacks.com The owner's name is Scott and its a family run business out of North Carolina. He is a Authorized Mitchell & Ness dealer but has other authentic licensed jersey/apparel. If he doesnt have something he will try and track down whatever you need, a real gentleman.

Normally i dont plug businesses or give away my sources, lol, but with this economy things have obviously been tough. Anyway he is as genuine as they come and an all around nice guy. And he has just as much disdain for the knockoffs and fakes as we do (he's been a collector for almost 40 years). Well i hope you guys find this helpful in your future quests for jersey's!

This forum's all about passing on positive experiences with the minority that sell legit jerseys, so plug away!

Just as a matter of interest, did you pay his asking price or manage to talk him down at all? He has a few AFL throwbacks of interest, but I won't be paying almost $300 for a Reebok retail authentic, I'm afraid.

I've been dealing with him for awhile, if he's down to his last one he'll usually cut you a deal or he's allowed me to put money down on a jersey until i have enough to pay in full, however long it takes.

One of the great things about him (Scott), is if your looking for something he will go out of his way to track it down for you, just grab the phone number off the website and give him a ring. It took him a little bit but he finally found me the '94 Mitchell & Ness Tim Brown jersey in my size, after contacting reps from the M&N company. And because he got it at cost, he didnt even mark it up on me. Well, enough gushing,, you guys get the point.

Hey Russell, I didnt see any Reebok close to $300? The most expensive one i saw was the 2009 Patriots Brady and Moss AFL Throwbacks for about $260. But its possible i missed one. If you talk to him, he will take money off for you, he's done it for me in the past, usually anywhere from $25-$45 he'll cut off the price. Good Luck.
