There are teams who are going to be getting new head coaches next year, my Bills being one of them as, and I quote 'Chan Gailey has been relieved of his duties.' That's a nice way of saying 'you're fired' I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do, I've not been totally sold on him but the Bills keep on changing HC's every 3 years and it's not working so I think we should have given him another year.

No surprise that Andy Reid has gone from the Eagles, but the Bears firing Lovie Smith was a eyebrow raiser, what I would give for a 10-6 season. The Chiefs have given Romeo Crennel the boot too.

The jets have kept Ryan but shown GM Mike Tannenbuam the door and the Browns have changed the locks on Pat Schumur and GM Tom Heckert.

Jacksonville GM Gene Smith is out but Mike Mularkey is still in place.

Nothing official on Norv Turner, but it cannot be long.

Doesn't take long in the NFL does it?

I'm goin to be very interested to see who goes after my boy Chip Kelly. As a Ducks fan here in Oregon, I can tell you--Chip Kelly is the man. I really want him to stick around with the young group of talent here at Oregon, but I imagine he will be a hot stock this off season. He demands "TOTAL" control and I'm hard pressed to seeing the Eagles giving him complete control. His philosophy would be very exciting in the NFL non the less.

I'm also very curious about the rumors of ole "Chucky" Gruden. I honestly could see him landing up there in Buffalo for you Bills.

I'd take Gruden, no problem. He'd put a rocket under the players that's for sure and that's what they need! I believe that the constant losses have become the norm at the Ralph and Gailey didn't seem to be able to change that mindset. There's a part of me that would like to see Andy Reid in Buffalo, I've always thought he was a damn good coach.

You think that they go for a new QB in this upcoming draft? I imagine they may consider a complete new look, down to some new blood at QB...?

What we have been missing since Jim Kelly retired is a QB. I like Fitz, he's got guts and I'm happy to wear his jersey, but he's a back up. We need a QB, but this years draft is lacking QB's. Nix hitched our wagon to Fitz, but as soon as the ink dried on his new contract so did his play. I would like to see them go after Smith from the niners, I think he could take us some places. I am interested to see if Nix stays too. I hope that we go after a good coach, there's a thread on here from 3 years ago when I ranted about who the hell is Chan Gailey. I don't want to see another cheap option. I've been waiting 13 loooong years for a playoff appearance.
